Hiland Doodles LLC

Buyer's Responsibility

  1. Buyer must submit balance of puppy's purchase at the time of puppy pick.

  2. Buyer must notify Breeder at the time of puppy deposit if the puppy needs to be transported/delivered.  The cost of delivery is due 1 week before puppy leaves.

  3. Buyer must claim/transport puppy from Breeder before the puppy is 8 weeks and 6 days in age. Delayed pickup/delivery will result in an additional $25 per day boarding fee, payable in advance before the puppy is released. The additional boarding arrangements must be made with the Breeder before the puppy turns 8 weeks old as the Breeder must agree to the additional boarding term.

  4. Buyer and the Breeder agree that the puppy is being sold "as-is" with no warranties made by the Breeder unless otherwise stated in the health warranty.

  5. The buyer bears all costs relating to the sale of the puppy, including transportation. The risk of loss or injury to the puppy is on the buyer at all times after the puppy leaves the seller.

  6. The Breeder is not responsible for any harm the puppy may do to property or individuals, including but not limited to, biting.

  7. The buyer should keep their Hiland Doodle puppy/dog at a healthy weight and a veterinarian recommended diet. This reduces the risk of dysplasia and increases the potential life span of the dog.

  8. The buyer should postpone strenuous, repetitive exercise until after their Hiland Doodle puppy/dog is over one year of age. In addition, frequent stair use should be limited the first 6 months of life.  This reduces the risk of dysplasia forming while the puppy's bones and joints mature.

  9. The buyer should keep annual veterinary appointments for their Hiland Doodle puppy/dog, and keep immunizations current according to the guidelines of the American Veterinary Medical Association.

  10. While it is recommend to have private puppy playdates with familiar dogs with known vaccinations, the buyer should avoid areas with numerous unknown dogs, such as dog parks and pet stores, until the puppy is fully vaccinated.

  11. The buyer should never place their Hiland Doodle puppy/dog in a shelter, pound, or similar facility.  If needed, the Breeder should be contacted for assistance in rehoming the puppy/dog.
