Here at Hiland Doodes, we believe that all dogs deserve to have a loving, forever home. Foremost, dogs should be part of a family and live in a home rather than kennels so that they receive as much love and attention as possible, and live out a life as a dog should. Because of our belief, we have decided to offer a Guardian Home Program.

A Guardian Home is the permanent home for one of our breeding male or female dogs.  Guardian Homes are far more humane than the alternative of kennels, which do not provide the care and attention a dog needs to live a happy life.  In addition, it is less stressful for a breeding dog to find their forever family at a young age vs when they retire as adults.

Becoming a Guardian Home gives you the opportunity to have one of our puppies or young adults as a family pet while he/she remains in our breeding program. Hiland Doodles will retain all rights to the dog while they are in our breeding program. Once retired, he/she will be neutered/spayed at our expense and will get to retire with his/her guardian family.

As a Guardian Home, you will be required to pay for the everyday expenses of owning a dog, including annual exams, vaccines, food, grooming, etc.  We (the breeder) will pay for all breeding related costs, including health testing, breeding related x-rays or ultra-sounds, etc.
